The Store & Café

The retail candy store is located at the corner of St. Francis Drive and the side street, Ninita St. Customers enjoy the easy, relaxed atmosphere which includes outdoor seating and WiFi.

We hand make all our candies at this shop using only natural ingredients and no artificial preservatives or dyes.  Most of our candy starts from pure coca, (chocolate) sugar and low fructose corn syrup (unfortunately a necessity in candy creation).   We also use a mixture of beautiful New Mexico chili’s in many of our candies providing a unique and local taste experience. With all the product produced on site (at Ninita Shop) it lends a wonderful aroma that greets you when you enter the shop, very warm and comforting.

Enjoy a heart warming cup of European Styled Chocolate, or just your favorite espresso and a pastry, while you enjoy a moments break from your fast paced schedule.  Our pastries are picked daily from one of Santa Fe’s premier bakeries. We are proud to partner with them on this, to provide this early morning service to our friends and neighbors.

We strongly believe in giving back to the community and always enjoy helping local schools with fundraisers or the opportunity of giving a tour of our shop to show how the candies are made.  We have a long standing history in supporting local non-profit groups when we can.

We recycle everything that is possible from the packaging of the raw materials used in the creation of our candies. We also strive to source as much as possible of our ingredients locally to ensure the smallest environmental impact possible.

Our shop is the FIRST food establishment in New Mexico that received an official variance from the State Health Department to allow my customers to bring their family pet dog into the building! No need to leave them behind or in the heat and cold.

We are pleased announce a new second location underway at 130 Lincoln Ave ½ block north of the Plaza. We hope to have this open by this coming Friday June 12th.
